Use the keyword query form for simple searches of the following data:
- Search for chemicals by name, synonym, CAS RN, MeSH® accession ID
or MeSH tree number (if prefixed with “chemtreeno:”).
- Search for diseases by name, synonym, OMIM accession ID, MeSH accession ID
or MeSH tree number (if prefixed with “diseasetreeno:”).
- Search for genes by symbol, name, synonym or NCBI Gene accession ID.
- Search for GO terms by name, synonym or accession ID
(e.g., “GO:0008219” or “8219”).
- Search for organisms by scientific name, common name, synonym or
NCBI Taxonomy accession ID.
- Search for references by author (“lastname initials”),
title, abstract, PubMed® ID or Digital Object Identifier (DOI).
- Select the All option to search all these data categories at once.
Use * as a wildcard.
The position of the wildcard specifies where another character or string of characters may appear.
Searches are not case sensitive.
For more advanced queries, use the advanced Chemical–Gene Interaction, Gene or Reference query forms.
